I wrote this for a pitch. We didn’t win, and I still have no idea why, but this did allow me to do my best Johnny Cash impression.

Jim Beam: Ode To Dad

This was an idea I created and wrote for a Jim Beam Father’s Day activation. It relied heavily on “Dadvice” and ridiculous pictures of dads. This idea woulda sold whiskey. I’d bet the farm on it.

I’ve got this in my Lit’l Smokies section, but it’s too good not to share here. We roughed this together with the help of some choir friends, but unfortunately it hit the cutting room floor due to budget. Making this woulda been a Christmas miracle.

There’s something amazing about using long form print to advertise Lit’l Smokies. So, we did it. Woefully, print was axed due to budget, but everyone loved this lit’l ad with a lotta copy.
